The Ministry of Health confirmed four imported cases and 147 domestic infections on Friday morning, bringing the national caseload to 17,727.

The imported cases include four Vietnamese nationals repatriated from Russia on June 21 and were positive for SARS-CoV-2 on July 1.
Meanwhile, the domestic cases are residents in HCMC (118), Phu Yen (ten), Dong Nai (five), An Giang (four), Long An (three), Nghe An (two), Dong Thap (two), Ha Tinh (one), Khanh Hoa (one), and Binh Phuoc (one). As much as 122 local infections were detected at quarantine camps or lockdown areas.
Among the national patient tally, 15,905 are locally-transmitted cases, including 14,335 reported in 51 cities and provinces since April 27 when the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence began.
Fourteen of the aforesaid localities have gone 14 days without community infections.
The number of fatalities related COVID-19 is 81.
On July 1, an additional 39,537 people received COVID-19 vaccine shots nationwide. Over 3.8 million vaccine doses have been administered so far, with 204,006 people fully vaccinated./.
