Global gold prices hit a new record on October 14 as investors rushed to buy due to escalating trade tensions and political instability, trading at 4,132.2 USD per ounce. Domestically, both SJC gold bars and gold rings set new records, traded at 146.1 million VND and 144.5 million VND per tael respectively.
