The Ministry of Health confirmed 360 new COVID-19 cases, raising the national patient tally to 19,933. 

The latest patients include four Vietnamese who returned to the country via the Lao Bao international border gate in the central province of Quang Tri on July 1.

All the others are domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh City (169), Binh Duong (76), Long An (52), Tien Giang (29), Quang Ngai (8), Phu Yen (5), An Giang (5), Dong Thao (4), Nghe An (3), Thua Thien-Hue (1), Ha Tinh (1), Ben Tre (1), Bac Giang (1), and Da Nang (1). Of these, 335 were detected in quarantine camps or lockdown areas.

The ministry also reported that 176 patients were discharged from hospitals the same day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 7,819./.
