HCM City Customs Department required branches to plan and work with seaport operators (if any) to develop working plans in line with the social distancing period and assign officers to be on duty with an appropriate rate, including implementing the “three-on-the spot” model, Deputy Director of HCM City Customs Department said.
The development of working plans must be safe and comply with regulations on pandemic prevention and control while facilitating imports and exports.
The department has asked branch leaders to strictly follow disease prevention and control measures of the Government. Report any arising problems to the Department's Steering Team for Covid-19 Prevention and Control for coordination and immediate settlement.
Earlier, on August 18, the Department's Steering Team issued a document guiding the disease prevention measures for units in the new situation.
According to the HCM City Customs department’s leader, the department is preparing to establish a Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control headed by the department’s director; set up a Covid-19 Safety Team to support the Steering Board; and build Covid-19 Safety Teams at units.
Customs officers of the department must sign a commitment to strictly comply with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control of their units, localities and during business.
