The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has completed one scheme to submit to the Government and 10 schemes at the general department level.
The Cutoms focus on fulfilling the plans and ensuring
quality of key programs and schemes
The GDVC has completed the draft decree regulating management methods and procedures for quality inspection and food safety inspection for imports.
Schemes at general department level are Decision 2166 promulgating analytical process to classify imports and exports, Decision 2300 issuing the reference price according to the List of imports with risk in value for passenger cars of 9 seats or less without a sales contract and commercial invoice.
It has also completed the survey results on the Cross-Border Trade Index 2020.
In addition, the GDVC has focused on major schemes such as the scheme on reforming the model of quality inspection and food safety inspection for import; launched the smart digital customs model, and developed the customs development strategy for 2021-2030.
The GDVC has perfected key decrees and circulars such as the decree supplementing and amending a number of articles of the Government Decree 08/2015 and Decree on customs management for e-commerce exports and imports.
