Vietnam’s export value of agro-forestry-fishery products in July 2026 is estimated at $6.67 billion, representing a 1.3% increase from the previous month and an 11.9% rise compared to the same period in 2025. 

This brought the cumulative export turnover for the first seven months of 2026 to nearly $42.8 billion, a 7.5% increase year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

In terms of the export structure, agricultural products accounted for nearly $22.2 billion, up 2.4%; forestry products $10.96 billion, up 5.8%; and fishery products $6.85 billion, up 12.7%.

Asia continues to be the largest regional market for Vietnamese agro-forestry-fishery exports, accounting for 45.2% of the total trade turnover in the seven-month period, followed by the Americas (21.4%), Europe (13.8%), Africa (2.3%), and Oceania (1.4%).

Compared to the same period last year, exports to Oceania surged by 18.7%, while Asia and Europe saw increases of 13.2% and 1.8%, respectively. In contrast, shipments to the Americas slightly declined by 0.5%, and exports to Africa dropped sharply by 20.4%.

Fruits and vegetables remain a standout growth driver. In July 2026 alone, export turnover for this sector reached approximately $1.13 billion, bringing the seven-month total to $4.83 billion—a 24.9% increase over the previous year.

China remains the dominant consumer, taking up 55% of the total fruit and vegetable export value. The United States and South Korea followed with shares of 7.9% and 4.6%, respectively. Exports to China grew by 24.9%, while the US and South Korea markets increased by 11.8% and 8.1%, respectively.

For the coffee sector, July exports were estimated at 147,600 tons, valued at $639.5 million. The cumulative figure for the first seven months reached 1.2 million tons worth $5.45 billion. Although export volume rose by 10.8%, the total value fell by 11.2% as the average export price dropped to $4,537 per ton, down 19.9%.

Germany, Italy, and Japan were the three largest markets, holding shares of 13.5%, 7.9%, and 7.2%, respectively. Among the top 15 markets, China recorded the most dramatic growth at 76.1%, while Malaysia saw a decline of 23.7%.

In the livestock sector, export value for July 2026 was estimated at $74.4 million, raising the seven-month total to $455 million, a 33.2% increase. Notably, milk and dairy products reached $124.2 million, soaring by 95.3%, while meat and meat by-products grew by 13.3% to reach $132.8 million.

The fishery sector also reported positive results, with July exports estimated at $1.09 billion, bringing the seven-month cumulative value to $6.85 billion, up 12.7%.

The three largest markets for Vietnamese seafood were China (24.2%), the US (15.5%), and Japan (13.9%). Exports to China saw a strong increase of 38.7%, and Japan rose by 2.4%, while the US market experienced a marginal dip of 0.8%. Among the top 15 export markets, Singapore showed the highest growth rate at 65.3%.
