Among 124 domestic enterprises featuring 283 products officially honoured with the title of 2020 Vietnam National Brands, five are subsidiaries of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam).

They are PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas), PetroVietnam Fertilizer & Chemicals Corp (PVFCCo), Petrosetco Assets Management JSC (PSA-Petrosetco), PetroVietNam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and PetroVietnam Camau Fertilizer JSC (PVCFC).

Amid challenges caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, this year’s national branding scheme has attracted more than 1,000 enterprises nationwide.

In comparison to 2018’s event, there are an additional 27 businesses which have achieved the award this year, therefore proving the programme’s efficiency to accelerate the import and export of goods and services, whilst also developing the domestic market.

Launched in 2003, the Vietnam National Brand Programme is the Vietnamese Government’s long-term trade promotion scheme and aims to introduce and promote the country’s prestigious quality products.

The programme has helped increase awareness among ministries, sectors, and businesses about the importance of building, developing, and protecting brands. It has also honored many prestigious products and enterprises and supported local businesses to improve their capacity and build their brand.

Participation in the programme helps businesses improve their reputation for quality products and gain easier access to domestic and foreign markets through trade promotion programmes organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
