Residents of Hai Phong city in the northern province of Quang Ninh will be treated with an epic fireworks display involving 4,000 high-altitude fireworks across eight venues and over 1,000 low-altitude fireworks, as a way of celebrating the Lunar New Year’s Eve, according to the Hai Phong City People's Committee

The venues set to be involved in the fireworks display include the Tam Bac lake area, the roof of the municipal Exhibition House in Hong Bang district, An Bien lake area in Le Chan district, the administrative centres in both An Duong district and Tien Lang district, the Cat Ba wharf area in Cat Hai district, and other venues. 

One of the highlights of the event will be 500 high-altitude fireworks and 120 low-altitude fireworks being fired at each venue. 

Moreover, the Hai Phong City People's Committee will allow the districts of Hai An, Kien An, Do Son, Kien Thuy, and An Lao to organise low-altitude fireworks to celebrate the Lunar New Year’s Eve.
