​Hanoi tube house designed with double facade creates peaceful escape from bustling city streets. 

CH House provides a three-generation family a harmonious refuge in the district of Ha Dong, Hanoi. 

The outer layer of its double facade is made of perforated cement blocks while the inner layer consists of steel framed glass. The design offers cover from the sun and dust, allowing natural ventilation to penetrate the entire house, 4.2 meters in width and 35 meters in length.

A large facade window allows natural light to feed inner greenery. 

Familiar grape- and starfruit trees across the house are maintained via an automatic watering system, saving precious time and energy. 

Interior design is largely inspired by traditional Hanoi homes, creating the usually missing link between city inhabitants and nature. 

Open spaces facilitate connection among family members. 

Two bedrooms at the back serve as refuge for older generations, with a kids’ bedroom situated at the front of the house. 

Common areas like the living or dining rooms are designed at different levels to replicate the notion of space.
