The Da Nang Department of Tourism held a cyclo parade on December 29 in order to launch a broad array of cultural activities as part of the Da Nang New Year Festival 2021 which is scheduled to last until January 2.

As many as 40 cyclos participate in the parade which is being held throughout the streets of Da Nang.

Organised by the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the event aims to promote the local tourism industry after being greatly impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Girls wearing Ao Dai, the nation’s traditional long dress, enjoy a ride in cyclos as they parade the hastags #Danag New Year Festival 2021 along the streets.

The parade heads through Asian Park before passing by Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets in order to bring the festive atmosphere to the central city.



The Da Nang New Year Festival 2021 is due to be held along the Han river and at Asian Park on Phan Dang Luu street. It will run until January 2 and will feature a host of cultural and entertainment activities for people to enjoy.
