The implementation of online public services is a remarkable achievement in information technology application by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC).

The Customs sector has focused on performing IT applications and providing online public services.
Early in September, the GDVC has made great effort to complete a huge workload like fulfilling requirements on operational activities, meeting technical and technological requirements; making the estimate, and perfecting the draft document for approval of information security level for the system and the draft plan for hiring IT services.
Customs continues to promote IT application to serve people and businesses.
In early September, Customs has provided 215 online public services at level 3 and level 4, accounting for 91% of total procedures processed by the customs, of which 209 procedures are at level 4.
The GDVC has also worked with agencies to integrate 26 online public services to the National Public Service Portal.
