Freedom Group, an international investment and management company, recently entered the Vietnamese market with international brand Coffeecell. 

Coffeecell was established in 2017 after an M&A transaction. By 2020, Freedom Group had invested over $3 million in its development. The brand recently entered Vietnam to satisfy local coffee lovers.

Coffeecell products are sold online and in stores, with a coffee shop bearing the name also opened. The company is currently operating from Ho Chi Minh City, with offices slated to open in Hanoi, Da Nang and other regions.

What makes Coffeecell special is its six-year-old imperial ginseng powder infusion of coffee beans. Aside from coffee, Coffeecell sells hot chocolate, black and green tea and healthy dried fruit bars. It is also preparing to launch healthy chips made from unusual types of vegetables.

All products are made using the six-year-old imperial ginseng root, which can actually be purchased separately as a BH product. BH by Coffecell provides a unique set of nutrients. It is an easily digestible, highly active extract obtained using cryogenic grinding technology and produced in the form of plant-based capsules suitable for vegetarians.

"Freedom Group is developing its Asian projects in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Indonesia and Malaysia," comments Alexey Lungul, head of the Coffeecell international brand. "But Vietnam is the key regional country for our company. Vietnamese are hardworking, energetic and receptive to everything new, which implies the local market would develop faster than other Asian equivalents in the Freedom Group’s sphere of interest," he added.

The company’s business geography currently includes 17 countries, and its investment portfolio, which totals 48 projects, exceeds $2.5 billion. Freedom Group launches or finds innovative startups, invests in their technological modernization, optimizes business processes and strengthens their market position. It then takes control of the most promising projects and actively develops them.
