Cai Mep SeaPort Customs Branch (under Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department) has detected two transit shipments containing milk, honey and canned meat that had falsely declared goods name, quantity, customs value, description, origin and lacked a veterinary certificate.

T.D Import-Export Trading Service Co., Ltd (located in HCM City) carried out procedures to transport the two consignments in transit from Cai Mep Port to Xa Mat Border Gate (Tay Ninh), said Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department.

Through inspection, Customs discovered 19 dairy products such as Enfagrow, Ensure, honey, and canned meat inside the two containers.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department has fined T.D Company VND54million (more than US$2,000) and asked the company to re-export these shipments. If the company does not re-export the consignments, all the goods will be destroyed.
