2024 marked the strong development of Gold Coin Vietnam. The company's animal feed sales grew nearly 20% from 2023, exceeding 80% of the designed capacity. This was a remarkable achievement when the Vietnamese feed industry confronted fiercer competition, especially from international brands. The company continuously improved its production lines, enhanced product quality and met the increasing demand of customers.

Mr. Ha Van Minh, Director of the company, said: One of the important milestones in 2024 was the inauguration of its 5th factory in Long An province with a designed capacity of 300,000 tons a year. The facility lifted the company’s total designed capacity in Vietnam to more than 1 million tons per year, affirming Gold Coin's commitment to providing high-quality products to the market.

In addition, the company conducted an important research and development (R&D) project in the Mekong Delta. The project aimed to support aquaculture and its member companies in Asia, contributing to the sustainable development of aquaculture.

Another notable success was the export of pet feed to Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and other potential markets. This not only opened up growth opportunities but also contributed to enhancing the position of Gold Coin Vietnam in the international market.

In the past year, it supported northern provinces damaged by Typhoon Yagi, provided livestock breeds for poor livestock farmers in the mountainous district of A Luoi (Thua Thien Hue), assisted schools in Binh Giang district with learning equipment and school health insurance, and participated in helping poor and disadvantaged people in the community.

Remarking on the Hai Duong investment environment, Director Minh said: Hai Duong is endowed with a lot of advantages for developing animal feed production. Its favorable geographical location, close to large livestock areas in the Red River Delta, facilitates its product distribution and reduces transportation costs. Moreover, the province lies near major ports such as Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, helping optimize input import costs.

The local government of Hai Duong always facilitates business development with strong support policies. However, the company also recommends that the province consider increasing overtime hours for feed workers, from 200 hours to 300 hours a year, to meet production needs.

Furthermore, the company proposed planning more inland waterway ports to reduce logistics costs to slash product prices and sharpen competitiveness.
