During counting and classifying goods left in stock, Sai Gon port zone 3 customs branch identified 19 containers of used machines and equipment that have not been received, HCM City Customs Department said.
To deal with this above shipment, the council for handling goods left in stock at the port invited the Quality Assurance and Testing Center 3 and Dai Minh Viet Inspection Joint Stock Company to assess the name of goods, manufacture year, remaining quality of used machines and equipment.
However, the inspection agencies refused the inspection because the goods in 19 containers include a lot of used machines and equipment, accessories of all kinds without full labels and technical specifications, which were disassembled from production lines and are packed in many containers. The volume and size of this shipment are too large so facilities and manpower at the port fail to meet the requirements for inspection.
This shipment has been left at the port warehouse for a long time and there is a problem in inspection for handling. Based on Circular 203/2014 / TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance, HCM City Customs Department has proposed a plan to notify the goods owner or transport company to bring the goods out of the territory of Vietnam.
