Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said that after more than a year coming back, I feel that Bac Giang is having great changes.

“On the main roads, Viet Han and Tan Hung Industrial Parks have newly established, followed by Yen Lu Industrial Park, Yen Son Industrial Park - Bac Lung and many other industrial zones were also expanded. Industrial parks are all developed in the direction of concentration, multi-sector, synchronous technical infrastructure system, in the fields of mechanical engineering, precision engineering, electrical equipment, machinery and equipment construction, ... with modern, advanced and environmentally friendly technology", Mr. Vinh said.

According to Vice Chairman of VCCI, this is really an attractive invitation for businesses, domestic and foreign investors; is a golden time to welcome transnational corporations, belonging to the supply chain of Apple, Samsung, and Honda. It can be said that the leaders of Bac Giang province have been planning detailed and synchronous plans with a clear orientation of industrial development and prioritizing foreign investors in general, including those from Korea.

“The government is oriented towards sustainable development, sustainable development of enterprises, like two hands clapping at the same rhythm, will certainly bring benefits to both sides, for the economic and social development of Bac Giang.

“Not satisfied with the initial success, in order to continue to improve the investment and business environment more strongly, I know that Bac Giang province has issued a Plan to raise the PCI Index next year higher than last year with ranking at least 20 compared to the whole country and belongs to the group of localities with "fair" quality of economic management, Mr. Vinh said.

To achieve that goal, at the conference, the VCCI leaders highly appreciated the determination of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province with a market-oriented attitude, listening to the opinions of businesses, ensuring publicity, transparency, compliance with the law and creating a favorable environment condition for production and business activities. Today's conference is also an opportunity for the government of Bac Giang province to listen to all the recommendations and proposals of Korean businesses and entrepreneurs.

According to Mr. Vinh, contributing to the strengthening of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, over the past 30 years, VCCI has cooperated with Korean partners to deploy many effective activities, helping businesses The two countries seek business and investment opportunities to realize the South Korean Government's Southward Policy and the project to promote bilateral trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and important strategic partners has been approved. The Prime Minister of Vietnam approved in 2018, assigning VCCI to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies and agencies in implementing in order to further promote extensive cooperation with important strategic partners, in which Korea is one of the important partners in this project.
