Mr. Hoang Quang Phong – Vice Chairman of VCCI – Calls for Stronger Engagement from Members in VCCI’s Activities and Development
Entering a new era of national development and resurgence, the Party and the State have issued a “strategic quartet” of resolutions, including: Resolution 57 on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; Resolution 59 on international integration in the new context; Resolution 66 on reforming the development and implementation of laws; and Resolution 68 on private sector development. According to Vice Chairman Hoang Quang Phong, Resolution 68 especially emphasizes the vital role of the private sector in the economy.
It can be said that since the enactment of the Enterprise Law, and through its many amendments and legal improvements over time, the business and investment environment in Vietnam has been significantly enhanced. Throughout this process, VCCI has actively contributed by assessing public and business satisfaction with the efforts of authorities at all levels and ministries, using annually published indexes that have been positively received by the business community.
VCCI Leadership Presents Official Membership Certificates
Based on enterprise data, VCCI has compiled, assessed, and reported to the Party, Government, and relevant authorities. These reports have identified legal bottlenecks that need to be amended or supplemented—particularly in economic legislation—with the aim of creating a more open and favorable business and investment environment. This enables enterprises to feel confident in their efforts and continue investing and contributing to the development of their businesses and the national economy.

Congratulating and welcoming the member enterprises that have joined the VCCI family, Vice Chairman Hoang Quang Phong expressed his hope for deeper engagement from members in VCCI’s activities and development. Through this partnership, VCCI aims to gather feedback from the realities of business operations—especially regarding institutional and legal bottlenecks in economic regulations that affect business activities. Such insights are vital for enhancing competitiveness, promoting production and consumption, and expanding the reach of “Made in Vietnam” products to international markets with which Vietnam has established economic and trade relations.
