Under its 2026-2030 strategy, Vinachem eyes VND95.83 trillion ($3.66 billion) in consolidated revenue by 2030, up from its projected VND65.45 trillion ($2.5 billion) this year,
The firm expects cumulative consolidated revenue of VND399.58 trillion ($15.28 billion) over the five years. Consolidated pretax profit is targeted at VND5.02 trillion ($191.8 million) by 2030 and VND19.31 trillion ($738.44 million) for the period.
For the parent company, Vinachem expects revenue of VND1.96 trillion ($74.95 million) and pretax profit of VND950 billion ($36.33 million) in 2030. It plans to invest VND2.13 trillion ($81.45 million) from the parent company’s development investment fund between 2026 and 2030.
A key part of Vinachem’s new strategy is to move beyond basic chemicals and fertilizers toward deeper processing and higher-value products.
Alongside its traditional fertilizer and basic chemical businesses, the group plans to develop high-purity chemicals for the food, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor industries, as well as next-generation fertilizers, pharmaceutical chemicals, specialty rubber, energy-storage batteries, advanced materials, and products supporting the clean-energy sector.
The group aims to establish a Vietnam chemical technology research and development center to support research, technology application, and in-house technological capabilities. It also plans to expand cooperation with domestic and international science-technology organizations and financial institutions.
It also intends to develop centralized chemical complexes and industrial parks with infrastructure designed to meet safety and environmental requirements.
Despite its push into new product lines, Vinachem expects its existing businesses to continue accounting for a large share of production through the end of the decade.
By 2030, the group targets production of 4.21 million tons of fertilizers and nearly 20 million tires. It also aims to produce 3.71 million kWh of batteries, 395,000 tons of detergents, 2.3 million tons of apatite ore, and 475,000 tons of basic chemicals.
Technology upgrades, digital transformation, and the shift toward greener production are also central to the 2026-2030 strategy, alongside efforts to strengthen raw-material self-sufficiency and develop core technologies.
Vinachem aims to rank among the 500 companies with the highest revenue and profit in Southeast Asia by 2030. Fortune ranked the group 148th among Southeast Asia’s 500 largest companies in 2026.
