VCCI Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh presented a gift to Mr. Mo Wuan, Standing Member of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (GPFIC), and Vice Chairman of the Government of Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, China.

Recently, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), VCCI Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh had a reception with Mr. Mo Wuan, Standing Member of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (GPFIC), who is also Vice President of the Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Government, and a business delegation.

Discussing the potential for cooperation, Mr. Mo Wuan highly appreciated the good traditional cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Guizhou province, and expressed his desire to expand and deepen economic, trade and investment cooperation activities between the business communities of the two sides. Mr. Mo Wuan also emphasized the important role of VCCI in connecting Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises and facilitating trade promotion activities.

Mr. Mo Wuan suggested that in the coming time, the two sides should establish a regular communication mechanism to establish a continuous communication channel to enhance information sharing on the current investment and business environment, as well as the list of key projects and strengths of the two sides to create favorable conditions for businesses to seek suitable cooperation opportunities.

At the same time, he proposed that VCCI coordinate and proactively organize Vietnamese business delegations to survey the Guizhou market, in order to promote substantive investment and trade cooperation, and at the same time expand two-way trade relations; at the same time, coordinate with the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce as well as provincial business associations to support investment promotion activities, forums, etc.

Sharing information with the Vice Chairman of VCCI, Mr. Mo Wuan said that Guizhou is currently focusing on developing the high-tech sector, manufacturing equipment, batteries, new energy, data centers, etc. These are potential areas where the business communities of the two sides can promote cooperation in the coming time.

On the VCCI side, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh agreed with the proposals from Mr. Mo Wuan and emphasized that VCCI is always ready to act as a bridge to promote cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises and Guizhou partners.

The VCCI Vice Chairman affirmed that VCCI is always ready to cooperate, provide information and support Guizhou province, as well as coordinate to promote exchanges between leaders and enterprises, which will contribute to concretizing cooperation ideas and putting plans into practice more quickly and effectively.

The VCCI Vice Chairman proposed that in potential areas of cooperation, the two sides should prioritize promoting sectors such as digital economy, e-commerce, tourism, green industry, digital transformation and innovation, which are developing strongly in Vietnam as well as Guizhou.

In addition, the VCCI Vice Chairman also suggested that the two sides sign a cooperation agreement with the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry to facilitate cooperation between the business communities of the two sides, opening up many new cooperation opportunities, and actively contributing to the common development of Vietnam - China economic relations in the coming time.

Currently, Guizhou Province (China) and Vietnam have many effective cooperation fields and projects, typically the investment project of Guizhou Tire Group in Tien Giang Province implemented since 2017, which started construction of the third phase of the factory last year.
