On April 8, 2026, the 35th Vietnam International Trade Fair – Vietnam Expo 2026 – officially opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh, Hanoi. The event runs until April 11, featuring 500 booths from around 420 enterprises representing more than 20 countries and territories, and is expected to welcome approximately 20,000 visitors and trade delegates from over 50 countries.

VCCI brings Vietnam’s supporting industries to the global stage
A notable highlight of this year’s fair is the direct participation of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which plays a role in policy support for domestic enterprises.

Under the state-funded project “Enhancing capacity and strengthening connections among supporting-industry enterprises for Vietnam’s industrial development” in 2026, VCCI provides partial booth cost support for 12 Vietnamese enterprises in the supporting industry sector participating in the fair.
Amid strong restructuring of global supply chains following geopolitical shocks and the pandemic, Vietnam is actively positioning itself not merely as a final assembly hub but as a supplier of components, parts, and higher value-added manufacturing solutions. In this context, VCCI plays a direct bridging role, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises in supporting industries to access international partners through a reputable and large-scale trade platform.
VCCI’s presence at this year’s Vietnam Expo goes beyond financial support. Within the framework of the fair, numerous business-matching programs are organized by sector, including forums on global supply chains.
In addition, the Vietnam–Korea business dialogue in the fields of automotive parts and shipbuilding reflects a long-term strategy to enhance Vietnamese enterprises’ capacity to integrate into global value chains.

A multi-sector fair with a strong B2B orientation
One of the key highlights of Vietnam Expo 2026 is the international pavilion area, where trade promotion organizations, industry associations, and enterprises from various countries showcase their strengths in products, technologies, and business solutions. These pavilions not only present a vibrant picture of global trade cooperation but also offer direct networking opportunities between Vietnamese enterprises and international suppliers, importers, distributors, and investors.
Among them, the Korea Pavilion continues to stand out as a major international highlight, featuring over 40 enterprises from different localities in South Korea. The pavilion introduces a wide range of products and emerging consumer trends, including cosmetics and beauty products, food and beverages, toys, gifts, innovative consumer goods, and technology solutions.
In addition to product displays, the pavilion hosts various trade promotion activities, B2B networking sessions, product launches, and cultural–brand experiences, creating a dynamic and practical business environment.
Vietnam Expo 2026 is organized as a multi-sector trade fair, with key exhibition zones including: International Pavilions; Export & Investment; Food & Smart Consumer Goods; Electronics & Home Appliances; Hardware & Hand Tools; and Elevators, Components & Supporting Industries. This multi-sector structure enables enterprises to optimize trade promotion efficiency and expand cooperation networks across related industries.
With a strong B2B orientation, the fair focuses on direct business matching, helping enterprises meet potential partners, identify importers and distributors, and explore investment opportunities.
Through exhibition, exchange, and direct engagement activities, participating enterprises can showcase their production capabilities, products, and services to domestic and international partners; identify distribution channels and import partners; study market demand and global trade trends; expand their network within global supply chains; and enhance brand recognition in a formal trade promotion environment.
For foreign enterprises, Vietnam Expo serves as a key gateway to access the Vietnamese market, understand the business environment, and connect with production, export, and distribution systems across Southeast Asia.
In addition to exhibitions and business matching, the fair also features a series of thematic seminars, business dialogues, and experiential activities aligned with the main exhibition sectors, adding value for participants.
In the Export–Investment and Food & Smart Consumer Goods sectors, various trade promotion programs and thematic seminars are organized, including global promotion activities for the China–ASEAN Expo, discussions on green consumption trends in global e-commerce, and product showcases from Belarus, opening up new opportunities for international market expansion.
In the Hardware & Tools and Supporting Industries sectors, business dialogues and networking sessions with Korean partners in automotive parts and shipbuilding, as well as seminars on global supply chain connectivity, help enterprises expand manufacturing cooperation and deepen participation in international supply networks.
Meanwhile, site visits to the Hanoi Supporting Industry Industrial Park (HANSSIP) and DIY (Do-It-Yourself) experience zones offer opportunities for enterprises and visitors to explore investment environments, production technologies, and products firsthand.
In the Elevators and Components sector, the seminar “Bringing Art into Elevators,” organized by the Vietnam Elevator Association, provides a fresh perspective on integrating elevator technology with design and art in modern architecture.
Among notable participating enterprises is SAPON Group, the official sponsor of Vietnam Expo 2026. SAPON Group is a leading Vietnamese company in the personal hygiene solutions ecosystem, developed under the orientation of “Vietnamese Brand – International Quality.”
With a modern production system and strict quality control processes, SAPON Group supplies billions of products annually to the domestic market and exports to 26 countries worldwide. Through its participation in Vietnam Expo 2026, the company aims to bring internationally standardized products closer to Vietnamese consumers while affirming the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the global market.
With over three decades of development, Vietnam Expo has become one of Vietnam’s most important trade promotion events, consistently attracting trade promotion organizations, industry associations, and enterprises from around the world.
In the context of expanding international trade and ongoing restructuring of global supply chains, Vietnam Expo 2026 continues to serve as a vital trade platform, contributing to economic cooperation, market expansion, and stronger connections between Vietnamese enterprises and global partners.
