Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuc, Deputy Director in charge of VCCI-ITB operations and Mr. Michele D’Ercole, Chairman of ICHAM, exchanged MOUs at the Forum
According to the content of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuc, Deputy Director in charge of VCCI-ITB operations and Mr. Michele D’Ercole, Chairman of ICHAM, the two sides will focus on promoting comprehensive cooperation in many fields.
Specifically, VCCI-ITB and ICHAM will share information, exchange opportunities for market development, capital mobilization, technology research and cooperation with universities; at the same time, support access to the startup ecosystem, creating conditions for Vietnamese startups to participate in incubators and acceleration programs in Italy and vice versa.
The two sides also committed to jointly build and operate the digital platform “Supporting Italian - Vietnamese Startups” to promote digital connections and technology application in startup management and operation; accompanying innovative startups in the process of expanding and developing markets in both countries. In addition, VCCI-ITB and ICHAM will jointly explore new technology cooperation opportunities in the fields of Industry 4.0, digital economy and sustainable development, contributing to improving competitiveness and promoting innovation for the business communities of the two countries.

The Vietnam - Italy Business Forum 2025 was organized by the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam in coordination with the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ITA) and the National Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria), with the participation of leaders of ministries, branches, the Italian Embassy, more than 200 Vietnamese enterprises and nearly 100 Italian enterprises. The event held 4 thematic discussion sessions on mechanics - agriculture, energy transition and circular economy, infrastructure - transport, high technology and innovation; and witnessed the signing of more than 10 important cooperation documents in many fields.
The signing of the MOU between VCCI-ITB and ICHAM not only affirms the determination to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, but also opens up many practical cooperation opportunities in the fields of digital transformation, innovation and technology development, contributing to promoting the Vietnam - Italy relationship to become increasingly deeper and more sustainable.
