At the meeting and discussion with journalists and reporters to strengthen communication coordination and spread the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW (Resolution 68) on private economic development on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Pham Tan Cong affirmed that the persistent companionship of the press not only encourages the spirit of innovation but also contributes to building an increasingly healthy and transparent business environment.
Accompanying and spreading Resolution 68
VCCI Chairman affirmed: After a journey full of challenges and fluctuations, the press has always maintained its mission of accompanying the innovation process, being a connecting bridge, a spiritual motivation to add confidence and enthusiasm to the team of entrepreneurs - the "soldiers" on the economic front.
According to VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong, the persistent companionship of the press not only encourages the spirit of innovation but also contributes to building an increasingly healthy and transparent business environment. In particular, when the private economy is identified as one of the key driving forces of the national economy, the deep and effective companionship of the press contributes to inspiring and creating a strong spread in the business community.
VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong emphasized that the birth of Resolution 68 marks an important turning point, opening up wide opportunities for the private economy to enter a more dynamic development phase. With that spirit, the press is not only a news reporter but also a companion, contributing to creating positive movements in the entire system, towards a self-reliant and sustainably developing economy. With a passionate and responsible pen, the press contributes to clarifying thinking, spreading policies, arousing confidence, and at the same time honestly reflecting the challenges and concerns from production and business practices.
Accompanying the implementation of Resolution 68, Chairman Pham Tan Cong said that as a national representative organization for the business community and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, VCCI has developed a specific action plan, focusing on the most practical contents, first of all, reforming economic institutions and removing policy barriers that are hindering business development. “We are also operating a specialized center to closely coordinate with press agencies to provide complete, accurate and timely information, thereby accompanying businesses on their development journey, especially during the implementation of Resolution 68. The press will continue to be a companion, working side by side with VCCI to contribute to creating new momentum, confidence and resilience for the business community” - VCCI Chairman shared.
Currently, VCCI is strongly promoting activities connecting domestic businesses with international partners, contributing to the formation of an ecosystem of cooperation and healthy competition. VCCI also pays special attention to developing a team of entrepreneurs through training programs on management, business culture and social responsibility, which are all increasingly important factors in the context of Vietnamese businesses entering the global playing field.
Promoting business development
100 years of accompanying the nation, experiencing many difficulties and harsh challenges, the revolutionary press is not only a historical witness, but also a real bridge between the Party and the People; a sharp weapon in the struggle for national independence and freedom; an effective tool for national construction and development; an inseparable part of the entire revolutionary cause under the leadership of the Party.
In 2023, the Signing Ceremony of the Work Coordination Program between four agencies: the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Science and Technology), the Vietnam Journalists Association and VCCI was held, marking a new important milestone for the cooperation between the Vietnamese business community and the press - media, aiming to contribute to the successful implementation of the great goal: Bringing our country to become a developed, high-income, prosperous and happy country by 2045.
VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong affirmed: The media and press environment is part of the overall business environment in Vietnam. A healthy media and press environment, which both disseminates information and knowledge about economics and business activities and encourages and motivates the entrepreneurial spirit in society, is a key requirement and a foundation to promote the development of businesses, inspire entrepreneurship in society, and contribute to the country's economic growth.
