The songwriting competition "Pride of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs" is jointly organized by VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the Vietnam Musicians' Association.

The judging panel consists of the following members: Mr. Nguyen Duc Trinh, a musician and the Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians' Association, serves as the Head of the Panel; Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice Chairman of VCCI, is the Deputy Head; NSND (People's Artist) Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, is a member; NSND Nguyen Trong Dai, a member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Musicians' Association, is also a member; and musician Tran Nhat Duong, the Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Musicians' Association, is also a member.

VCCI collaborates with the Vietnam Musicians' Association to facilitate practical songwriting experiences for composers from May 8 to May 10, 2023. The practical locations include the Vinfast automobile factory in Hai Phong, the International Tourism Area of Doi Rong under the GELEXIMCO Group, and the Nam Cau Kien Ecological Industrial Zone. A total of 37 composers participated in this practical songwriting excursion.

The organizing committee carried out promotional activities for the competition through various communication channels of VCCI and the Vietnam Musicians' Association. They also sent official letters to associations, clubs, businesses, met with entrepreneurs and musicians to invite them to participate in the competition.

The competition received strong support and close collaboration from the Vietnam Musicians' Association. Immediately after the press conference to launch the competition on March 16, 2023, the association disseminated the competition rules to over 60 affiliated chapters nationwide. The association also worked together in organizing the practical experiences for musicians at businesses, as well as deploying renowned musicians to serve on the competition's judging panel for assessing the entries and assisting in selecting and arranging the winning compositions for the award ceremony.

The competition also garnered interest and participation from both professional and amateur composers from all corners of the country. Even some veteran musicians who had not composed for a long time responded to the spirit of "Pride of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs" and submitted their entries. Notably, the competition received compositions from many entrepreneurs who took up the pen to share their own stories.

The competition also received enthusiastic support from entrepreneurs, businesses, associations, clubs, and more. The biggest success of the competition is the creation of 23 excellent works dedicated to entrepreneurs, a topic that has been relatively rare in the past. The organizing committee hopes that this will contribute to encouraging and uplifting the spirit of Vietnam's entrepreneurial team – the economic warriors and the backbone of the national economy.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to be a significant event in the series of activities commemorating Vietnamese Entrepreneur Day organized by VCCI, taking place in early October 2023.

23 Outstanding Songs about Entrepreneurs

As of July 31, 2023, the organizing committee received 347 entries from 320 authors for the competition. Among them, 213 authors are professional musicians, 90 authors come from various professions, and 17 authors are entrepreneurs. The youngest author is 30 years old, while the oldest is 85 years old.

During the preliminary round, 123 entries were disqualified for not adhering to the competition rules. These entries included compositions about specific businesses, individual entrepreneurs, female entrepreneurs, and various associations and organizations.

In the judging round, a panel of renowned musicians selected the top 23 outstanding entries from the competition, categorizing them into Group 1 (comprising 5 songs), Group 2 (comprising 8 songs), and Group 3 (comprising 10 songs) for presentation to the competition's organizing committee (with a list attached).

During the listening and selection round of the competition's organizing committee, the VCCI Standing Committee voted for 23 entries. The results yielded 6 entries that received the highest evaluations, aligning with the competition's criteria. These entries are as follows:

2. Song: "Proud Vietnamese Entrepreneur"; composed by musician Pham Tien Dung.

3. Song: "An Ode to Vietnamese Entrepreneurs"; written by Vo Thi Cam Hien.

4. Song: "Vietnamese Entrepreneur's Anthem"; composed by musician Tran Cong Nghi.

5. Song: "Vietnamese Entrepreneur"; composed by Entrepreneur Tran Minh Duc.

6. Song: "Aspiration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs"; music by Nguyen Xuan Binh, lyrics by Entrepreneur Pham Hong Diep.

The 6th Executive Committee Meeting of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), 7th term, held on August 30, 2023, featured prominent entrepreneurs who are leaders of top corporations and companies in Vietnam. During the meeting, they listened to the entries, voted, and selected the 3 entries that best matched the competition's criteria: compositions that express love for the country, a majestic spirit, unity among Vietnamese entrepreneurs, and especially those suitable for ensemble singing, choral performances, and for use in significant events and ceremonies of entrepreneurs. The 3 selected entries are as follows:
