Thai Nguyen Business Association has just held the first Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. This is a landmark congress, marking a new development step for the business community of the province on the basis of merging the Business Association of Thai Nguyen province and the old Bac Can province. Referring to the global and domestic economic situation that directly affects the operations of enterprises, Chairman Pham Tan Cong emphasized that in that context, the Party and the State have paid attention to the development of entrepreneurs and enterprises, especially private enterprises, by issuing Resolution 68 and Resolution 57. In recent times, the National Assembly, the Government and relevant agencies have promptly issued resolutions and programs to implement the above Resolutions.

Notably, the Ministry of Finance is drafting a Training Program for 10,000 Private Enterprise Executives to be submitted to the Prime Minister for promulgation in the coming time. Along with many other policies to support private enterprises that are being drafted and about to be promulgated, Chairman Pham Tan Cong believes that private enterprises in particular and the business community in general will have remarkable developments in the coming time.

In Thai Nguyen, from July 1, according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the Bac Kan Provincial Business Association merged with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Business Association, opening a new development phase as well as expanding the scope of operations with thousands of businesses in Thai Nguyen province after the merger.

Appreciating the spirit of solidarity and high unity in the Executive Board of the Business Associations of the two provinces of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan (old), the Chairman of VCCI affirmed: the efforts and results of the activities of the two associations and member businesses have contributed significantly to the socio-economic development in the past 5 years of the two provinces.

Congratulating the results achieved, Chairman Pham Tan Cong noted that the business community of Thai Nguyen province after the merger must make great efforts to join hands and unite with the Party Committee, government and people of the province to achieve the economic growth target of 8.5% in 2025 and socio-economic development goals in the 2025 - 2030 term, contributing to making Thai Nguyen a growth pole of the midland and mountainous region of the North.

For the business community, according to Chairman Pham Tan Cong, although the development space is more open, looking at reality, in a locality with the thinnest business team and the smallest economic scale in the country like Bac Can, the coming time will face many difficulties and challenges.

With a vision for the future development of the Vietnamese business community as well as the goals and tasks set by the Party and the State for the business community, especially the private economic sector, Chairman Pham Tan Cong suggested that the Executive Board of the Association and its members pay special attention to a number of orientations and tasks in the Association's activities.

Firstly, study and thoroughly grasp the two important Resolutions of the Politburo on business people and businesses, namely Resolution No. 41 dated October 10, 2023 and Resolution No. 68. In particular, focus on improving the capacity of the Association in supporting and promoting the development of members and the business community and businesses in a practical and effective manner.

In addition, focus on training and connecting businesses, actively participating in the national training program for 10,000 CEOs. Proactively advise the province to develop and implement training programs for high-quality entrepreneurs, contributing to building and forming a strong team of ethnic enterprises in Thai Nguyen province, with good competitiveness both domestically and internationally.

Second, to encourage and promote members and businesses to practice business ethics and business culture, to build a team of Thai Nguyen businessmen with patriotism, national pride, aspiration to contribute, respect for the law, and actively carry out social responsibilities.

Join hands to build a unique business cultural identity of the Vietnamese business community as well as of Thai Nguyen itself, taking culture as a new strength in business and in international integration. Spreading typical examples of implementing the 6 business ethics, making many contributions to the economic and social development of the locality and the country.

Third, the Association continues to play a good role as a bridge between the business community and the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front, departments, branches and sectors of the province; orienting enterprises to actively participate in implementing the goals, policies and tasks of socio-economic development of the locality, especially the goals of the Provincial Party Congress.

In the coming term, the Association needs to work closely with Party committees and local authorities, actively participate in building and implementing economic development policies, especially in perfecting and improving the local business environment, overcoming challenges to promote balanced development of the new Thai Nguyen province after the merger. VCCI commits to accompany the province and the Provincial Business Association in improving the business environment, developing the economy and the local business team.

At the Congress, Chairman Pham Tan Cong presented a banner of VCCI with the content "Dynamic, Creative, Connecting Enterprises, Integration and Sustainable Development" to the Provincial Business Association. Along with that, 25 individuals who are leaders of the Provincial Business Association were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of VCCI for their outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the development of the business community and the local socio-economy in the 2020 - 2025 term.
