Phan Vu Group accompanied the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and relevant units in organizing the incense offering ceremony, tree planting, and social welfare activities at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province
Towards the roots and commitment to green development
In the solemn atmosphere of the sacred ancestral land, the delegation including leaders of VCCI, the World Energy Council Vietnam (WEC VN), the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), and the Phu Tho Business Association performed an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to the Hung Kings. The activity carried profound significance, reflecting the tradition of remembering one’s roots and the determination of the business community to preserve and develop the country in harmony with nature.
Immediately after the ceremony, the program “Launching Ceremony for Tree Planting for a Sustainable Green Environment” with the theme “Vietnam concretizing the pathway to Net Zero” officially took place. The young trees planted at the Hung Kings Temple not only contribute to improving the ecological landscape of the heritage site but also serve as evidence of the long-term commitment of business leaders to offset carbon emissions and restore the environment.

A representative of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized that collective action for the environment is no longer an option but an inevitable responsibility. Economic development must go hand in hand with ecosystem protection, this is a guiding principle that VCCI consistently promotes among its member business community towards a green and sustainable Vietnam.

In addition to tree planting, Phan Vu Group and the organizing units directly conducted social welfare activities in the locality. In Hy Cuong Commune, the Group’s leaders presented 100 gift packages with a total value of VND 100 million to children in especially difficult circumstances. Each package included VND 1 million in cash along with essential goods, contributing to encouraging and supporting them in life.
This activity not only demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and compassion but also reflects the close connection between economic development and corporate social responsibility. These humane values, spread in the ancestral land, created a positive impression on local authorities and residents.
Concretizing the pathway to Net Zero
The tree planting and charity program in Phu Tho is a concrete initial step toward realizing Vietnam’s net-zero emissions goal. A representative of the World Energy Council Vietnam shared that each tree planted today will become a “green asset” for the future, playing a role in carbon storage and ecosystem balance.

The multidimensional collaboration among organizations such as VCCI, WEC Vietnam, VBCSD, and the Phu Tho Business Association, along with the participation of Phan Vu Group, creates a solid foundation for forming responsible value chains. These practical activities not only raise social awareness but also encourage the business community to shift strongly toward green business models, contributing to the realization of national sustainable development goals in the new phase.
