As part of a series of events to welcome the 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association, term 2025-2030, on the morning of August 2, the Vietnam Private Hospital Association organized the Vietnam Private Healthcare Development Forum 2025.

On the morning of August 2, the Vietnam Private Hospital Association organized the Vietnam Private Healthcare Development Forum 2025. In his opening speech at the Forum, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri - Vice President of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association said that over the past 30 years, private healthcare has emerged and become an indispensable organic part of the national healthcare system. It has contributed to people's healthcare, helped reduce the burden on public healthcare, shared the state budget, and expanded access to services for the people. In the current context, the 13th Party Congress has set out the aspiration for a prosperous and happy country, in which the private economy plays an important role.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri - Vice President of Vietnam Private Hospital Association delivered the opening speech of the Forum.

According to the Vice President of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association, Resolution No. 20/NQ-TW dated October 25, 2017 affirmed that private healthcare is developed equally with public healthcare and especially Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation, Resolution 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law making and enforcement recently also once again showed that the private economy plays the most important role, thereby creating breakthrough legal opportunities for the development of private healthcare.

However, currently, private healthcare still faces many problems that need to be resolved, in reality, there are still bottlenecks in institutions, in investment, finance, land, bidding... therefore, it is necessary to look straight, look honestly and make the right proposals to resolve and create conditions for healthy development.

“The goal of the Vietnam Private Healthcare Development Forum 2025 is to be a place for dialogue and exchange between policy makers, investors and experts. We focus on sharing experiences, recommending specific and implementable policies. At the same time, we strengthen connections, spread the values of innovation, integration and sustainable development with the message: “Private healthcare is not just business but service”… developing private healthcare is a practical action to implement the orientation of universal healthcare and the aspiration for national development of the Party and the People”, the Vice President of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association expressed.

The Vietnam Private Healthcare Development Forum 2025 was organized into 2 sessions with 2 major contents related to the practical operations of enterprises

The Forum was organized into 2 sessions with the following contents: Session 1 - Innovation in private healthcare development from policy to practice and Session 2 - Digital transformation of healthcare, a breakthrough opportunity with the participation of experts in various fields.

Speaking at the Forum, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) - Nguyen Quang Vinh assessed that the content of the Forum was divided briefly but focused on very meaningful issues. The contents and issues raised in the Forum directly affect the activities of each member in the Association, which are business environment issues, policy issues, and implementation issues.

“VCCI was established on April 27, 1963, the legal department was also established to improve the business environment for enterprises and the international relations department was established from the beginning to support Vietnamese enterprises to go out into the world, import and export, promote trade... The topic at the first session also showed the responsibility of VCCI in that with the mission of increasingly improving the business environment to be more open, more transparent and more equal for business associations to develop, including the Vietnam Private Hospital Association”, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh shared.

At the same time, he said that the second session is also extremely important, in which digital transformation and innovation are no longer a matter of choice, but a decision directly related to existence or non-existence.

According to Vice Chairman Nguyen Quang Vinh, the business community has been fortunate to receive important pillars from the Party and the State in recent times, thereby creating opportunities for development and integration.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Private Hospital Association needs to coordinate with VCCI and other business associations to jointly develop action plans to implement and realize the Party's Resolutions...
