Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh, Secretary General of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) (right), welcomed Ms. Dnets Marina Andreevna, Deputy Director of the Export Support Center of Khabarovsk Krai, Russian Federation.
At the working session between Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh, Secretary General of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and Ms. Dnets Marina Andreevna, Deputy Director of the Export Support Center of Khabarovsk Krai, Russian Federation, the two sides had specific exchanges on strengthening information coordination, seeking cooperation opportunities, and promoting connections between the Vietnamese business community and Khabarovsk Krai, especially in areas where each side has strengths.
Introducing investment potential in Khabarovsk Krai, Ms. Andreevna stated that this is a major economic center of the Russian Far East, with advantages in natural resources, processing industry, logistics, and a favorable geographical position to connect with the Asia-Pacific region. Enterprises in Khabarovsk have particular strengths in timber exploitation and processing, fisheries, agriculture and forestry, energy, as well as cross-border logistics and transportation services.
According to Ms. Andreevna, to help the business communities of both sides better understand demands, standards, and cooperation potential, the Export Support Center of Khabarovsk Krai is ready to coordinate with VCCI to further promote investment promotion activities, organize seminars, business forums, and direct business matching (B2B) programs to help enterprises of both sides better understand demands, standards, and cooperation potential.
Ms. Dnets Marina Andreevna highly appreciated VCCI’s role in supporting enterprises and promoting international economic cooperation; at the same time expressed her desire for VCCI to connect with reputable partners from Vietnam, while calling on Vietnamese enterprises to study investment opportunities, joint ventures, production and processing cooperation in Khabarovsk in order to take advantage of local raw material sources and support policies.

VCCI welcomed and worked with the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation and the business delegation of Khabarovsk Krai.
Speaking at the meeting, VCCI Secretary General Tran Thi Lan Anh emphasized that the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation are an important foundation for promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
According to the VCCI Secretary General, Vietnam is currently one of the dynamic economies in the region, with a business community that is increasingly developing in both scale and production and export capacity. VCCI is ready to play the role of a bridge, supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing the Khabarovsk market in particular and the Far East region in general through trade promotion activities, business matching, provision of market information, and partner support.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the possibility of cooperation in areas where Vietnam and Khabarovsk have strengths and high complementarity, as well as information on the investment environment and enterprise support policies.

VCCI Secretary General Tran Thi Lan Anh took a commemorative photo with representatives of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation and the business delegation of Khabarovsk Krai.
The VCCI Secretary General stated that making use of existing trade agreements and cooperation mechanisms between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, including the cooperation framework within the Eurasian Economic Union, will help enterprises of both sides reduce costs, enhance competitiveness, and expand market share.
The VCCI Secretary General emphasized that VCCI will strengthen information exchange, while coordinating with the Export Support Center of Khabarovsk Krai to implement practical trade promotion activities, aiming toward specific cooperation, opening up more opportunities for enterprises in Vietnam and Khabarovsk Krai, thereby contributing to strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in the new period.
