Accordingly, in Constituency No. 4, comprising wards of Ha Dong, Duong Noi, Yen Nghia, Phu Luong, Kien Hung, Tu Liem, Xuan Phuong, Tay Mo and Dai Mo, with strong support from voters, Mr. Ho Sy Hung, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), was elected as a member of the 16th National Assembly.
With the trust of voters in Constituency No. 4, VCCI President Ho Sy Hung was elected as a member of the 16th National Assembly.
At the voter meeting with candidates for the 16th National Assembly for the 2026–2031 term in Constituency No. 4, in his action program, President Ho Sy Hung stated that, if entrusted by voters, he commits to implementing the program with several key priorities:
First, to continuously cultivate moral integrity and uphold the qualities of a people’s representative; remain absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the People, and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; regularly improve professional capacity, political will and determination to fulfill duties; maintain a clean, modest and exemplary lifestyle in both work and daily life, while encouraging family members and the public to follow suit; and resolutely fight against corruption, wastefulness, bureaucracy and other negative practices.
At the voter meeting with candidates for the 16th National Assembly (2026–2031 term) in Constituency No. 4, VCCI President Ho Sy Hung presented his action program.
Second, to fully perform the duties, powers and responsibilities of a National Assembly member, truly representing the will, aspirations and legitimate interests of the people; stay close to the people, respect and listen to their concerns; supervise and, when necessary, question leaders of central government agencies on issues of concern that remain unresolved or inadequately addressed; and maintain regular voter engagement in accordance with regulations.
Third, to contribute to institutional reform, administrative reform and the improvement of the legal framework; address shortcomings such as lack of transparency, overlaps and inconsistencies; reduce unnecessary administrative procedures that create burdens for citizens and businesses; enhance state management efficiency in areas such as land, public investment and budgeting; with the overarching goal of building a stable, transparent and feasible legal system that drives rapid and sustainable growth, while promoting socio-economic development and human resource development.
Fourth, to lead or participate in activities promoting trade, investment and tourism; support startups and business development, especially micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and household businesses; facilitate product consumption and attract tourists, thereby contributing to the capital’s economic growth and job creation; and prioritize addressing pressing urban issues such as flooding, traffic congestion, urban order, environmental sanitation, air pollution, food safety, combating counterfeit goods and trade fraud, and protecting consumers, with the aim of building a modern, green, clean, civilized and livable capital city.
Fifth, to contribute to promptly and lawfully addressing urgent concerns of citizens and businesses across the city and nationwide; ensure timely handling of petitions and complaints, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the people and business community.
