A delegation of Polish enterprises held a working session with the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Department of Domestic Market Management on September 7 to explore distribution partnerships and sourcing opportunities in Vietnam, specifically within the cosmetics and food and beverage (F&B) sectors, reported the Government News.
The delegation was led by President of the Asia Business Forum, Bartosz Komosa, accompanied by representatives from the Vietnam Trade Office in Poland.
Among the participating businesses was JNT Group, a major company with an annual revenue of approximately 500 million PLN (Polish Zloty). The group is currently seeking distributors in Vietnam for its Cava wine and other Polish alcoholic beverages. Similarly, MAJAMI (a subsidiary of Sweet House), a specialist in the confectionery industry, is looking for partners to distribute Polish sweets and candies in Vietnam.
Polish businesses expressed a keen interest in sourcing high-quality goods from Vietnam. GABONA, a professional wholesaler of cosmetics, hair care products, and beauty accessories, is actively seeking Vietnamese manufacturers capable of supplying vegan and natural cosmetics. Furthermore, the Polish delegation expressed interest in establishing partnerships for Vietnamese freeze-dried fruit products.
To address these specific needs, the Department facilitated direct networking sessions between the Polish delegation and Vietnamese enterprises in corresponding industries. This allowed both sides to showcase their products, discuss specific requirements, and explore potential collaborations.
Prior to the B2B networking session, the delegation held discussions with the Department regarding Vietnam’s commodity market trends, market development policies, and the broader potential for bilateral cooperation.
According to Director General of the Department, Mr. Tran Huu Linh, these direct connection activities are vital. He noted that such interactions allow businesses from both nations to gain a deeper understanding of product demand, cooperation capacity, and effective market entry strategies for both Vietnam and Poland.
