This afternoon (July 25), in Hanoi, VCCI in collaboration with relevant agencies organized the "Forum of Media and Business Partnering for Vietnam's Prosperity and Happiness." Within the framework of the program, to strengthen and build a healthy cooperative relationship, to support each other's development between the media and businesses, in line with the Party's direction, and to strive for the country's development goals, the agencies including the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists' Association, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) have collectively launched the collaborative program "Media and Business Partnering for Vietnam's Prosperity and Happiness."

Speaking at the Ceremony for "Signing the collaborative program among the 4 agencies," Mr. Tran Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department affirmed that this is a highly significant event stemming from the initiative of the Chairman of VCCI and arising from legitimate demands and needs in the practical work of the business community, entrepreneurs, and journalists. By now, all the necessary conditions have been met to have a collaborative program signed today.

According to Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, in the Party's 13th Congress Document, the goal set for 2045 is for our country to become a developed nation with high income - this is both an aspiration and a common vision for the entire nation. To contribute to realizing this aspiration, the crucial role of numerous businesses and the core workforce of entrepreneurs in the economic development of the country cannot be overlooked. In recent years, the Party and the State have issued various new policies to promote economic development and utilize the roles of businesses and entrepreneurs. Concurrently, the media has been consistently accompanying this process, providing timely and profound information dissemination on Party directives and state policies and laws.

The media serves as both watchdogs and contributors, aiding in policy amendments that promote economic growth and creating favorable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs to develop within the legal framework. Practical evidence shows that the media and businesses/entrepreneurs always maintain a supportive partnership that aids mutual development. Businesses and entrepreneurs are sources of information, partners, and essential subjects served by the media. The media serves as a communication channel for businesses and entrepreneurs, aiding in their continual growth.

Mr. Tran Thanh Lam believes that the organization of this signing ceremony aims to enhance the effectiveness of collaborative partnerships between the media and businesses, sharing the responsibility to contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

Simultaneously, he suggests that the VCCI annually show appreciation for and evaluate the media agencies that have produced quality articles. Additionally, it should be a platform for addressing grievances and difficulties that businesses face when working with the media, which sometimes brings about disturbances.

"All fronts need vanguard fighters, and we take pride in entrepreneurs being vanguard forces on the economic and social front. The Prime Minister has also stated that each entrepreneur is a skilled, courageous, and resourceful fighter on the economic front. Similarly, we are proud that every journalist is a fighter on the front of culture and ideology," Mr. Lam asserted.

The organization of the signing ceremony aims to enhance the effectiveness of collaborative partnerships between the media and businesses, with the shared responsibility of supporting and contributing to the sustainable development of the country.

It is known that the contents of the collaborative program between the 4 agencies include: The annual forum "Media and Business Partnering for Vietnam's Prosperity and Happiness": creating a platform for annual dialogue to discuss, evaluate the situation, share experiences, best practices, and propose content and solutions to enhance cooperation between businesses and the media, building a business environment and a media environment that promote the development of both businesses and the media, contributing to the flourishing, civilized, and happy nation.

The program for selecting authors and journalistic works focusing on the economy, businesses, entrepreneurs, and the business environment (named "Golden Economic Pen"): aiming to honor journalists, authors, and contributors of quality works that excellently contribute to promoting the development of businesses, entrepreneurs, and the business environment in Vietnam.

The program to survey and evaluate the media environment that promotes business development: with the purpose of understanding the situation and contributing to building the business environment, especially the media environment that promotes business development; Encouraging and motivating media agencies to improve the quality of economic information, accompanying businesses.

Spreading the spirit and business culture from exemplary Vietnamese entrepreneurs: Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit within society, spreading the ethics of entrepreneurs and the business culture within the business community by disseminating lessons and exemplary entrepreneur stories, particularly those who have been honored with the title of "Exemplary Vietnamese Entrepreneur" by VCCI.
