The “OCOP HA NOI” TikTok channel is tasked with introducing OCOP products, craft villages, artisans, production establishments, businesses and sellers in Hanoi through short videos, product stories, real-life experiences, livestreams and collaboration with content creators.
Through the channel, consumers are connected to products available at the shops of eligible sellers.
However, according to Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Director Trần Đức Hải, the “OCOP HA NOI” TikTok channel is not a sales shop operated by a state agency. The Department of Industry and Trade does not directly receive orders or payments, nor does it assume sellers’ obligations. Businesses, cooperatives and household businesses operate under their own names, run their own shops and bear direct responsibility for goods, selling prices, inventory, orders, delivery, customer service and related obligations.
Following the launch event on October 6, the “OCOP HA NOI” TikTok channel will continue to develop content regularly, organize livestreams, add eligible sellers and products, monitor data and evaluate implementation effectiveness.

The channel’s effectiveness will not be measured solely by views or engagement, but also by its ability to reach customers, drive conversions, ensure operational quality and sustain the activities of sellers and products after the 30-, 60- and 90-day milestones.
Nguyễn Thanh Liêm, Director General of the Hanoi Radio and Television Authority, said that each product is not merely a commodity but also embodies a story about its producer, its locality, traditional crafts and the livelihoods of the community. Therefore, bringing products into the digital environment needs to go hand in hand with the ability to tell their stories, provide accurate information and build consumer trust.

Nguyễn Lâm Thanh, General Director of TikTok Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd., said the channel would be maintained regularly, feature quality content and become a useful bridge between producers and consumers.
TikTok Shop supports the development of digital business capabilities for participating entities; promotes products and highlights local stories; and provides technical support and monitors implementation effectiveness.
TikTok Shop will coordinate efforts to connect content creators with artisans, production establishments and sellers to provide clearer introductions to the origin, characteristics and value of products.
“We will provide support in terms of tools, communications activities and promotion for videos and livestreams; coordinate in monitoring results and resolving any issues that arise,” Nguyễn Lâm Thanh affirmed.
