Authorities of central Ha Tinh Province have approved a plan to develop digital technology businesses for 2026–2030, aiming to build a strong business-centered ecosystem and accelerate the growth of the digital economy and the province's development transformation.
Under the Plan, the province will focus on creating a favourable investment environment and stepping up investment promotion to attract capable domestic and foreign digital technology companies.
By 2030, Ha Tinh aims to establish three to five core digital technology enterprises capable of developing digital platforms, data systems and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for public administration and digital services.
The province also targets having more than 60% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt digital technologies in their production and business operations.
In addition, Ha Tinh plans to develop at least three digital platforms or solutions created by local businesses to address major local challenges. The province also aims to establish three incubators or innovation spaces and provide digital technology training for an average of 1,000 people annually.
The digital economy is expected to account for around 15–20% of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) by 2030.
