Overview of the Workshop “AI and Information Security in the Digital Age”
Today, the Workshop “AI and Information Security in the Digital Age” organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Asia Foundation, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Da Nang City, with the support of the Inter-Pacific Import-Export Company Limited (IPPG), the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) took place in Da Nang.
More than 100 delegates from Agencies, Departments, Business Associations and female entrepreneurs of Da Nang City and many provinces and cities across the country attended the workshop.
The workshop provided useful information on digital technology application solutions, promoting digital transformation, helping women-owned businesses make the most of the benefits brought by artificial intelligence. At the same time, the workshop also helps businesses equip themselves with basic knowledge about "digital defense", ensuring safety for business operations and development in the digital economy.

Experts and entrepreneurs shared experiences in applying AI in business and enterprise management
At the workshop, experts analyzed the development trends of artificial intelligence (AI) and its profound impacts on the way businesses operate and manage in the digital age. At the same time, experts emphasized the importance of identifying forms of cyber attacks that take advantage of AI, enhancing risk prevention, protecting data and privacy in cyberspace. These contents contribute to guiding businesses to apply AI safely, effectively and sustainably in the digital age.
“Digital transformation will be truly effective and sustainable when the human factor is at the center. When businesses are fully equipped with the right knowledge, tools and mindset, they will not only better respond to information security risks but also be able to develop firmly in the digital environment. Therefore, programs like today contribute to creating a space for learning, connecting and taking concrete actions for a safe, comprehensive and sustainable digital future,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Senior Expert on Gender and Social Development - The Asia Foundation in Vietnam.

More than 100 female entrepreneurs nationwide attended the workshop in Da Nang
The discussion session with the topic "Application of AI and ensuring information security in business operations" with the participation and sharing of speakers and experts from UN Women, BIDV, IPPG Group; Blockchain Technology Institute and Artificial Intelligence ABAII; Vietnam Sales & Marketing Directors Club - CSMO Vietnam, specifically discussed the challenges in applying AI to information security risk management of enterprises, innovation in management thinking and improving business leadership capacity in the digital age, especially for enterprises owned and led by women. The practical stories and experiences shared by female leaders, experts and guests inspired the female entrepreneurs attending the workshop on the spirit of innovation, proactively applying digital technology safely to lead business development in the new context.
In her closing remarks at the workshop, Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Huyen, Vice President in charge of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, said, “Artificial intelligence is the extension of innovative thinking, and digital defense is the safety belt for sustainable development in the digital age. When female entrepreneurs possess both, they not only lead their businesses but also contribute to creating a safe, sustainable and inclusive digital future.”
The workshop was also an opportunity to connect female entrepreneurs with management agencies, support organizations and experts, to share the intersection of values between technology, people and governance. Thereby, contributing to improving the adaptability and innovation capacity of the Vietnamese female entrepreneur community in the digital age.
