This message was emphasized at the Women Business Leaders Forum 2026 under the theme “Women and Digital Trust”. The event was organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with The Asia Foundation and relevant partners.
Vice President of VCCI Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasized that digital trust – mutual trust among stakeholders – is the core factor determining the sustainable development of businesses.
Speaking at the forum, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice President of VCCI, affirmed that trust established among people and partners serves as the driving force to overcome challenges in a rapidly changing world. In particular, the explosive growth of AI, technology, and digital platforms is reshaping business models and many aspects of daily life.
Referring to important resolutions recently issued by the Politburo, Vice President of VCCI Nguyen Quang Vinh noted that Resolution 57 on science and technology development, digital transformation, and innovation, together with Resolution 68 on private sector development, are creating unprecedented opportunities for private enterprises, including those led by women entrepreneurs. More recently, the Government approved the Digital Transformation Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises for the 2026–2030 period, setting ambitious goals to support SMEs in adopting technology and AI and seizing business opportunities in the digital era.
According to Vice President of VCCI Nguyen Quang Vinh, technology can create speed and data can create competitive advantages, but digital trust – mutual trust among stakeholders – remains the core factor determining the sustainable development of businesses. This is particularly significant at a time when AI can generate content within seconds, while building trust may take many years.

At the forum, delegates and women entrepreneurs exchanged views and shared solutions to strengthen digital leadership capabilities and reinforce digital trust within the business community.
For businesses, the digital era is bringing profound changes. Vice President of VCCI Nguyen Quang Vinh shared that customers today are not only choosing better products and services but are also choosing more trustworthy companies. Business partners are no longer looking solely at commercial capabilities; they also pay attention to transparency, accountability, and data protection. Investors are not only assessing current performance but are also evaluating how prepared enterprises are to manage the risks of the digital economy.
Given these changes, the most sustainable businesses are not necessarily those with the most advanced technology, but those that enjoy the greatest trust from customers. Against this backdrop, VCCI, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, and The Asia Foundation selected the theme “Women and Digital Trust” for the Women Business Leaders Forum 2026.
Vice President of VCCI Nguyen Quang Vinh expressed his belief that the new perspectives and practical solutions discussed at the forum would help businesses, especially women business leaders, work together to build a strong digital economy founded on trust. Women should have equal opportunities to access technology, knowledge, and development resources to promote digital transformation, foster sustainable trust, create new values in the digital era, and contribute to building a more inclusive, comprehensive, and trustworthy society.
