This is the sharing of the Party Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) - Pham Tan Cong, at the conference for training and knowledge enrichment for the leadership and management personnel of VCCI in 2023.

In his opening remarks at the training session on the morning of August 3rd, the Secretary of the Party Union - Chairman of VCCI, Pham Tan Cong, emphasized that such training sessions are highly necessary and important. The desire of the Party Union in a new term is for us to have a new vision, a new mission; we dare to look into the great future of the country, which is the expectation that in 20 years, Vietnam will become a developed, civilized, and modern nation.

In that vision, the pace of enterprise development will increase from 1 million to 1.5 million, 3 million, and if each enterprise has 3 businesspeople, then the force of entrepreneurs will reach the number of 10 million.

"VCCI bears a tremendous mission. Whether this country becomes prosperous or not, whether this nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the strong powers of the five continents or not, it all depends on the efforts of the businesses. They are the main force to build the country, and we are honored to be entrusted with the role and mission of organizing. It's a privilege," shared the Secretary of the Party Union, Chairman of VCCI - Pham Tan Cong.

Chairman of VCCI, Pham Tan Cong, raised the question: How can each individual of ours fully unleash their potential, contribute to building a team of entrepreneurs, enterprises, and support the business community in fulfilling their missions, in order to lead Vietnam to become a developed nation in 20 years?

At the conference, participants were trained in topics related to personnel management, revenue management, and foreign affairs regulations of VCCI.

"The remaining journey is very short, and we must make an effort. To achieve this, the VCCI team must be extremely strong, extremely skilled, and extremely united. Therefore, the Party Union has a policy to start from this year. Every year, we will have programs to connect and understand each other better, to bond with each other... to enhance specialized knowledge, have vision and awareness, to collectively seek and build business ethics, business philosophy for the business community," emphasized the Secretary of the Party Union, Chairman of VCCI.

"In our 60-year journey, we have tried our best, and especially in this new phase, we need to make even more efforts to help our entrepreneurs develop their production and business. In the upcoming time, we must contribute to building a complete business community, with common characteristics, common values, common philosophies, and common ideas, so that we can embrace new missions, pioneer in constructing a moral and cultural foundation for the national business community, together serving the mission, aiding society, aiding entrepreneurs, aiding the country to achieve prosperity, happiness, and success," said the Secretary of the Party Union, Chairman of VCCI.

The conference is an opportunity for leaders and managers of various units to exchange experiences, promoting a sense of unity and creating a high level of cohesion across the entire VCCI system.

The training topics along with the issuance of new regulations help VCCI personnel to understand and unify their approaches and methods of dealing with situations. And every year, we will select a specific theme for sharing and enrichment. Our comrades, who are the most important members of VCCI, constitute the core machinery of the organization.

"I sincerely hope that our comrades will have a truly effective and cohesive dialogue session, sharing the same understanding and motivating each other to be determined in carrying out their tasks. From there, we can confidently follow the 60-year tradition of VCCI, proud of VCCI's heritage. This will contribute to building a strong VCCI, fostering the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs," emphasized the Chairman Pham Tan Cong.

Party Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of VCCI - Nguyen Quang Vinh, shared about VCCI's foreign affairs activities.

Mr. Phan Hong Giang - Deputy Secretary General, Head of the Organizational Department, shared about the new regulations concerning personnel work, the working regulations of VCCI, and the issue of motivating labor.

During the conference, the delegates were trained on topics related to: Some new points to note in the Regulation on Personnel Work issued together with Decision No. 0715/LDTM-TCCB dated April 25, 2023; some new points to note about the Working Regulations of VCCI issued together with Decision No. 0463/LDTM-TCCB dated March 30, 2023; some issues regarding labor motivation. The new financial management regulations of VCCI and the promotion of revenue-generating services. Enhancing the effectiveness of foreign affairs and international cooperation of VCCI in the new context... At the same time, the VCCI-affiliated units also exchanged, discussed, and shared practical experiences in the management and operation of their respective units.
