Sharing with the Business and Enterprise newspaper, Nguyen Van Vy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Energy Association, commented that throughout its activities, VCCI always prioritizes the development of the business community and entrepreneurs as its core focus.

The forum "Renewable Energy Development in Vietnam: Thinking and Action in the New Phase" is organized by the Business Forum Magazine under the guidance of VCCI and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Building a favorable business environment
In this regard, VCCI actively participates in building institutions, policies, promoting administrative reforms, and improving the investment and business environment. Through these efforts, the role of VCCI is increasingly affirmed and valued.
VCCI's participation in building institutions and policies is carried out in the process of drafting legal documents; reviewing, studying the enforcement of legal documents, and proposing recommendations to competent authorities in administrative reforms and protecting the interests of businesses.
VCCI has conducted research and provided input on numerous draft legislative documents, participated in drafting, editing, reviewing boards, and assessing draft projects. It also gathers opinions and suggestions from businesses and associations on laws and policies through conferences and workshops.
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Energy Association also appreciates the elaborate reports prepared by VCCI, which propose recommendations and suggestions to competent authorities regarding regulations and significant overlapping issues in the implementation of major laws or regulations that affect the operations of businesses and the business community in Vietnam.
Many legislative provisions have been considered, revised, and contributed to addressing difficulties and obstacles, supporting business development, and aligning with new circumstances and contexts, thanks to the proposals and recommendations of VCCI. The research and contributions of VCCI not only protect the interests of businesses but also contribute to ensuring that resolutions and legislative documents reflect the aspirations and opinions of businesses, creating breakthroughs in policies and ensuring the enforcement and legal framework for business activities.
Staying close to reality and staying ahead of trends
Secretary-General of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, Dang Phuc Nguyen, affirms that VCCI has accompanied the Association in its development process. Over the years, many member businesses have regularly received comprehensive support from VCCI, particularly in terms of trade opportunities with domestic and international partners, legal advisory services, and issues related to business operations and cooperation with partners. VCCI has also provided assistance in obtaining Certificates of Origin (C/O), export certificates, and necessary documentation for international trade transactions following international practices.
According to Secretary-General Dang Phuc Nguyen, the Association receives information about VCCI's support programs on a weekly basis, which include activities such as trade and investment promotion, training, consulting, and providing information to businesses. These programs are promptly disseminated by the Association to ensure that member businesses can grasp and participate according to their needs. In Mr. Dang Phuc Nguyen's assessment, VCCI's training and capacity-building activities closely align with practical needs and anticipate emerging trends.
In recent years, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economic landscape has undergone significant changes that directly impact the production, business operations, and import-export activities of enterprises in the industry. Moreover, Vietnam has participated in various new-generation Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), opening up new export markets and opportunities for cooperation and import-export activities for Vietnamese businesses in general, and agricultural enterprises in particular.
To seize these opportunities, businesses have a great demand for understanding legal regulations, policies, export markets, as well as training and capacity-building support, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to enhance their necessary business capabilities and skills in the new context. According to the Secretary-General of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, VCCI is effectively providing this support, increasingly comprehensive and professional.
