Official Dispatch No. 1492/KCB-PHCN&GD dated November 19, 2021 of the Medical Examination and Treatment Management Department under the Ministry of Health on the issuance of dossiers of request for settlement of social insurance benefits for employees with the following provisions:

The issuance and management of the certificate of leave to enjoy social insurance shall comply with the provisions of Chapter IV and the forms specified in the Appendix to Circular No. 56/2017/TT-BYT dated December 29, 2017 of the Ministry of Health.

Once examined, the patient is issued with a certificate of leave of absence enjoying social insurance for a maximum of 30 days. In case the patient needs to take a leave of absence longer than 30 days, when the leave period stated in the certificate of leave for social insurance benefits has expired, the patient must conduct a follow-up examination for the practitioner to consider and decide.

Thus, in comparison with the above regulations, Ms. Linh needs to contact the O Cho Dua ward's health station to get a certificate of leave to enjoy social insurance.
