Mr. Nguyen Khoi (Binh Duong) stopped paying social insurance from April 2021 due to the termination of his labor contract and received unemployment insurance benefits. Recently, he made an application to receive support money due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the VssID app but was refused to settle. Mr. Khoi asked, what do you have to do to receive this support?

Regarding this issue, Vietnam Social Insurance replied as follows:

The Customer Care Center directly contacted Mr. Khoi and Binh Duong Social Security by phone to check and verify the payment of unemployment benefits for Mr. Khoi.

When Mr. Khoi received all unemployment insurance benefits due to his resignation, Mr. Khoi had no more months to reserve the time to pay unemployment insurance premiums. Therefore, he is not eligible for the policy to support employees affected by the COVID-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund according to the Government's Resolution No. 116/NQ-CP dated September 24, 2021 on policies to support employees and employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
