A reader who has email address as thanhhuyenx @ xx asked: My company operated in the field of sending workers abroad. I would like to ask, according to the law, what acts were prohibited in sending workers abroad?

Article 7 of the Law on Vietnamese workers working abroad under contracts stipulates the following prohibited acts:
1. Granting permits for overseas employment services (hereinafter referred to as permits) to enterprises that do not meet the conditions prescribed by this Law.
2. Using the License of another enterprise or allowing another person to use their License to operate the sending of workers abroad.
3. Assigning the task of administering activities of sending workers abroad to the person who has managed an enterprise whose license has been revoked or who is being disciplined by the form of warning or more for violations regulations of the law on workers working abroad.
4. Going to work or sending workers to work in areas, industries, trades and jobs that are prohibited under the Government's regulations or are not permitted by the host country.
5. Taking advantage of activities of sending workers abroad to organize the sending of Vietnamese citizens abroad.
6. Taking advantage of activities of sending workers abroad to organize recruitment, training and collection of money from workers.
7. Organizing sending workers abroad to work without registering contracts with competent state agencies in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
8. After entering the workplace or running away from the contractual workplace.
9. Illegally staying abroad after the expiration of the labor contract.
10. Enticing, seducing or deceiving Vietnamese workers to stay abroad in contravention of law provisions.
11. Causing troubles, obstructing or harassing laborers or enterprises, non-business organizations, organizations or individuals investing abroad in sending workers abroad.
