Mr. Huy asked, is there a contingency cost in package contracts? He asked the Ministry of Construction to guide the implementation of cutting contingency costs in the case of a package contract.

The Ministry of Construction responded to this issue as follows:

The payment and settlement of construction contracts shall comply with the contents of the signed contract, in accordance with the bidding documents, bid dossiers and regulations of law applicable to contracts in each period.

In case the contract mentioned in Mr. Huy's question falls within the scope and subject of application of the Government's Decree No. 37/2015/ND-CP dated April 22, 2015 detailing construction contracts: 

The price of the package construction contract and the conditions for applying the package contract have been specified in Article 15 of Decree No. 37/2015/ND-CP.

The payment for package construction contracts is specified in Article 19 of Decree No. 37/2015/ND-CP.
