A reader who has email address as minhquangx @ xx asked: In the near future, our company has a plan to expand its business into the field of producing gold jewelry and fine arts. What conditions do we need to meet to do business in this field?

Article 5 of Decree No. 24/2012 / ND-CP on the management of gold trading activities provides for conditions for production of gold jewelry and fine arts as follows:
1. Enterprises producing gold jewellery and fine arts shall be issued with the Qualification certificate of gold jewellery and fine arts production when the following conditions are satisfied:
a) The enterprise is established under law provisions that have registered to produce gold jewellery and fine arts in the Certificate of business registration.
b) Having premises, facilities and necessary equipment serving the production of gold jewellery and fine arts.
2. The State Bank stipulates the procedures and dossiers on the Qualification certificate of gold jewellery and fine arts production.
Clause 1 Article 1 of Circular No. 03/2017 / TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 16/2012 / TT-NHNN guiding a number of articles of Decree No. 24/2012 / ND-CP on the management of gold trading activities provides for the dossier of application for a certificate of eligibility for gold jewelry and fine-art production as follows:
1. An application for a certificate of eligibility for gold jewelry and fine arts production (made according to the form provided in Appendix 1 to this Circular).
2. Enterprise registration certificate and documents proving that the enterprise has registered the production of gold jewelry and fine arts according to the provisions of law.
3. Documents or documents proving the ownership or the right to use the production site; a declaration of material foundations and equipment serving the production of gold jewelry and fine arts.
