In this regard, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:

For officials and medical staff who directly treat COVID-19 patients and who have just participated in the 24-hour standing day at the isolation area of the medical examination and treatment facility, the following benefits will be paid:

The anti-epidemic allowance as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 2 of the Government's Resolution No. 16/NQ-CP dated February 8, 2021 on the costs of medical isolation, medical examination and treatment and some specific regimes in COVID-19 prevention and control.

The 24/24 hour standing regime as prescribed in Article 2 of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 73/2011/QD-TTg dated December 28, 2011 stipulating a number of special allowances for civil servants, public employees and employees in public health facilities and anti-epidemic allowances.

The food support is in accordance with the provisions of Clause 5, Article 2 of the Government's Resolution No. 16/NQ-CP dated February 8, 2021.
