In the context of geopolitical and global trade fluctuations, Vietnamese enterprises are facing increasing challenges – especially the narrowing of access to the US market due to increasingly strict countervailing duties and technical barriers. In this context, the European market has emerged as a strategic market with great potential, stable demand and openness to green and sustainable products. However, to effectively penetrate this market, enterprises need to meet a series of increasingly stringent green standards, from carbon emissions, product design, packaging, to origin and supply chain responsibility. In fact, any export industry from mechanics, steel, aluminum, cement, electricity - electronics, food, textiles, footwear, fertilizers to wood products, chemicals... is also subject to the regulation of one or more EU green standards, making understanding and updating regulations an urgent requirement.
In order to support businesses to promptly adapt and take advantage of opportunities to expand exports to the European market, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organizes a Training Course with teaching support from experts from Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd. and VINACONTROL Group Corporation:
Updating European green standards, Carbon Market and green transformation solutions for manufacturing enterprises
Time: 08:00-16:30, Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Location: Hall No. 1, 7th floor, VCCI Building, No. 9 Dao Duy Anh, Hanoi
Free to attend.
The training course provides updated information on green standards in the European market such as ESG, CBAM, ESPR, FTF, EPR and regulations related to emissions, packaging, and sustainable supply chains. In addition, businesses will be guided to assess the level of compliance, and consulted on building a suitable conversion roadmap for each specific industry.
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry respectfully invites businesses to attend the training course.
