To enhance the capacity of enterprises amidst international economic integration, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC)—under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)—in collaboration with UN Women and other partners, is organizing a seminar titled "Sustainable Trade Practices for Effective Exports: A Focus on Women-Owned and Gender-Responsive Enterprises." This seminar offers an opportunity for businesses to stay updated on sustainable trade trends and requirements associated with new-generation Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), while also deepening their understanding of labor, environmental, social responsibility, and gender equality standards within global supply chains. Through insights shared by regulatory bodies, international organizations, experts, and pioneering enterprises, participants will gain access to practical experiences and solutions for effectively leveraging FTA commitments, boosting competitiveness, expanding markets, and fostering sustainable exports.
Seminar details are as follows:
- Time: Starting at 08:00, Thursday, August 27, 2026.
- Venue: Hanoi.
- Participants: Representatives from ministries and government agencies; international organizations; business associations and industry associations; women-owned and gender-responsive enterprises; export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); and businesses or organizations interested in sustainable trade and supply chain development.
