Panama is an important partner of Vietnam in Latin America and a regional hub for distribution, logistics, maritime transport, and finance, serving as a gateway for trade between the Americas and international markets through the Panama Canal. The Colón Free Zone (CFZ) in Panama is the largest free trade zone in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world. Vietnamese products with strong competitive advantages and significant export potential in the Panamanian market include electronics, textiles and garments, footwear and leather goods, construction materials, and agricultural and aquatic products.

On the occasion of the official visit to Vietnam by His Excellency José Raúl Mulino, President of the Republic of Panama, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Vietnam and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama, is organizing the Vietnam–Panama Business Forum, with the following details:

The forum provides an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to meet and engage with representatives of Panamanian agencies and organizations, gain insights into the market, business environment, policies, and cooperation and investment opportunities in Panama, and thereby expand economic and trade cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
