In accordance with the cooperation agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to promote bilateral relations and business cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany assigned the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to jointly implement the Partnering in Business with Germany Training Program.

Since 2008, 47 courses with more than 900 participants have been successfully conducted and highly appreciated. VCCI and GIZ are now continuing admissions for Course 49, focusing on the field of Food Processing and Smart Agriculture, with specific information as follows:

Schedule (expected):

• Online interviews: January 6–9, 2026
• Online opening ceremony: March 9, 2026
• Training in Vietnam (taught by instructors from Germany): March 17–20, 2026 (2 days in Hanoi for northern participants, 2 days in Ho Chi Minh City for southern participants)
• Online training: March 23 – May 1, 2026 (6 weeks)
• Training and business partner visits in Germany: May 4–21, 2026 (3 weeks)
  Training center in Germany: CEFE, Cologne
  Number of participants: 20 people

Participant eligibility:

• Ability to study and work in English
• Specific goals for business cooperation with Germany
• Not currently working for a 100% foreign-owned company
• Not a former participant of the program

Costs included:

• Admission and training fees and other organizational costs: 12,000,000 VND (twelve million dong)
• Round-trip airfare: to be purchased by participants according to the training schedule
  All expenses in Germany are covered by the German government, including visa fees, health insurance, training, accommodation, one meal per day, and transportation for meetings with German partners.

VCCI respectfully invites enterprises to nominate staff to register for the program using the attached form before December 19, 2025. Application documents will be sent after receiving registration (priority given to VCCI member enterprises and early submissions).
