The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (VYEA) has raised VND5 billion (US$217,000) from individuals and businesses in support of the production of 10,000 sets of SARS-CoV-2 test kit, its Chairman Dang Hong Anh said on March 13.

The VYEA also earmarked VND1 billion from its fund for the project, he said.

As of March 13, Vietnam had reported 47 COVID-19 cases, 16 of them were discharged from hospitals after their complete recovery.
