The facility in My Lam ward will be the first under the Vin New Horizon brand, which Vingroup introduced in October 2025. The model combines accommodation, healthcare, and community activities for older people, catering to day visitors, short-term guests, and long-term residents.
With 240 rooms built to international standards, the My Lam facility will offer services covering medical care, rehabilitation, dining, and community programs, positioning itself as a senior living and wellness destination rather than a conventional nursing home.
Following the My Lam project, Vinpearl (HoSE: VPL) plans to develop additional facilities in Can Gio, Ha Long, and other townships. However, a report by MBS Securities did not specify investment capital, capacity, or expected opening dates for the planned locations.
The senior living chain would broaden Vinpearl’s business beyond hotels, resorts, entertainment parks, and golf courses. According to the company, its portfolio of owned, operated, or managed properties includes 35 hotels and resorts with more than 17,500 hotel rooms and villas, six golf courses and VinWonders parks.
Vinpearl reported a net profit of VND2.14 trillion ($82.58 million) in the first half of 2026, about eight times the level recorded a year earlier and driven by gains on asset disposals.
