This is GSM’s fourth market following Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia in its Go Green Global strategy to expand internationally in the electric vehicle industry.
Green SM will initially operate in 10 out of 16 cities and districts across Metro Manila, the political, economic, and cultural hub of the Philippines, with a population exceeding 13 million.
The fleet will consist of VinFast’s eco-friendly, modern electric vehicle, the VinFast Nerio Green.
All vehicles are equipped with the company’s Secure to Safe (S2S) monitoring system, built on three core values: Secure, which offers proactive monitoring and risk control; Safe, which ensures peace of mind for all passengers, especially women, children, and the elderly; and Smart, which uses AI to enhance operational efficiency and transparency.
“The Philippines is a strategic milestone in our Go Green Global journey. However, Green SM operates for a real shift towards sustainable, green, and modern mobility rather than market expansion, demonstrating our strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility,” said Nguyen Van Thanh, Global CEO of GSM.
Founded in Vietnam in March 2023, GSM is now a pioneer of green transport in Southeast Asia.
