According to Nguyen Ngoc Diep, founder of Alluvia Chocolate, the new store is not only a shopping destination, but also the first “bean-to-bar” chocolate experience space fully implemented by Alluvia in Vietnam.
Visitors can visually approach the handmade chocolate production process through the display area of specialized machinery and equipment; participate in a chocolate making workshop; explore more than 35 product lines with more than 100 product codes from cocoa and chocolate.
Diep said that the new store is a milestone marking 11 years of formation and development of this chocolate brand. Alluvia owns a chain of 21 stores stretching from Hanoi to Dong Thap and one store in Cambodia.
“Currently, 60% to 70% of Alluvia’s customers are foreign tourists. If Vietnam tourism is good, Alluvia’s business will be good and the peak sales will fall during the end-of-year and early-year holidays,” she noted.
Therefore, Alluvia mainly opens stores in cities with strong tourism and areas with a high concentration of international tourists. The company’s six stores in Ho Chi Minh City are all located in the city's central area.
